Ministry Announcement!

Hello everyone!

Savana and I have a big announcement that we're excited to share with you all today.

This coming August, Savana and I will be moving our family to Tyler, Texas to serve as missionaries on staff of the School of the Bible training school with Youth With A Mission!

If this seems out of left field to you, you aren't alone. When God began to working on our hearts and preparing us for a season of change, we had no idea He would be calling us back into missions with with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and School of the Bible (SOTB).

We're VERY excited, because though this means a lot of (difficult) change, it also represents a lot of wonderful new potential to see God's Kingdom furthered in the world.

For those of you who aren't familiar with SOTB, it's a year-long training program in which students are taken through intensive Bible study and trained and equipped to be sent out to preach God's word, create disciples, and see revival happen. The training program is designed to dive into the incredible character of our great, mighty, loving God as well as the life-changing truths within His word, to let them transform our hearts and minds, and then to take them into the world that so desperately needs them. SOTB has been responsible for sending hundreds of teachers and disciplers out into the mission field; it's had a massive effect on God's move in the earth. Savana and I have gone through the school ourselves, and much of our heart for missions and ministry has been shaped by SOTB.

Both of us are passionate about this ministry and about what it's doing for God's Kingdom.

As many of you know, my passion is to teach and equip God's people with truth, and then to see that truth go out and change the world. I'll be teaching in the school, discipling students, and helping to bring up another generation of teachers of the word and world-changers. God has given Savana a passion and burden to see this ministry grow and thrive through networking and logistical/practical ministry. We want to plug into this ministry that God has called us to and see it thrive and affect the world in even more powerful ways.

In talking with my family and the leadership of Life Church, we all feel that God is not separating us from the church, but is rather sending us out as missionaries of Life Church to be plugged into this ministry that is doing great things for God's Kingdom. Florida will remain our home, Life Church will remain our home church, and we'll be back in Florida periodically throughout the year for visits, guest-speaking at Life Church, and for bringing YWAM outreach teams as well!

So, what can you do?

First off, we need your prayers.

This is going to be a major season of transition for our family. There's going to be a lot of difficult change with preparing to move and settling into a new home in a new ministry. We would love it if you would hold us up in prayer as we enter into this difficult, but exciting, season of life.

Second, prayerfully considering partnering with us in this incredible ministry by joining our team.

Over the next few months we'll be building a team to do two things:

1) Hold our ministry up in consistent prayer (which is incredibly important) as we share bi-weekly updates about our family, our family's ministry, and the ministry of SOTB and YWAM as a whole.

2) Hold our ministry up in monthly financial support. SOTB is an entirely missionary organization, which means that it's impossible for us to do the work of the ministry without this kind of financial partnership from you all.

So, if you would, ask God and see if He would have you become a part of this wonderful work of God by becoming a part of our team.

We're very excited about what God has in store for our family, the ministry we'll be working with in Texas, and our home church here in Florida.
